To find your size, use a tape measure around your waist at the level of your belly button. Measurements below are in inches. Due to the compression in our shorts and the secure drawstring waistband, if you are looking for a more relaxed fit, we suggest sizing up. (ex. if you are a true to size small you will have a snug compressive fit which is what we recommend for running in).

[Andee 5'9" and is a true to size XL and liked the compressive fit of the XL. Feels they fit true to size. Andee likes the length and that the shorts don't ride up or chaff
SARAH is wearing Hot Pink 6" shorts in size LARGE
[Sarah 5'6" and is a true to size medium but because she has a straight down torso (chest to waist) she preferred the waist on the large.

The side pocket has two compartments which is nice and not something I’ve seen before. These are thicker/warmer than other shorts like this I’ve tried.

It's seriously my only "complaint," or I'd have given them 5 stars for sure. However, the one sided pocket is actually two (as an aside, if you're mid-run, accessing different items inside of a stacked pocket is a little bit tricky) and it's VERY deep! My friends and I call them Mary Poppins pockets! Cute color, super soft, and are officially part of my regular shorts rotation now!
