To find your size, use a tape measure around your waist at the level of your belly button. Measurements below are in inches. Due to the compression in our shorts and the secure drawstring waistband, if you are looking for a more relaxed fit, we suggest sizing up. (ex. if you are a true to size small you will have a snug compressive fit which is what we recommend for running in). 

XS: 22-24"
SM: 25-26"
MD: 27-29"
LG: 30-34"
XL: 35-37"
XXL: 38-41"

MADISON is wearing her 6" shorts in size SMALL
[Madison is 5'2" and is a true to size SM and liked the compressive fit of the SM. For a more relaxed fit she could have sized up to MD. Feels like they are compressive and a snug fit. Madison loved that the shorts do not need to be adjusted. Madison has a 27" waist (measured at belly button height) & is 37" around her hips at her widest point]

MAYA is wearing 6" shorts in size LARGE
[Maya is 5'4" and is a true to size medium but preferred the fit of the LG shorts. Maya has a 32" waist (measured at belly button height) & is 40" around her hips at her widest point]

SARAH is wearing 6" shorts in size LARGE
[Sarah is 5'7" and is between a MD - LG but preferred the fit of the LG shorts. Sarah has a 30" waist (measured at belly button height) & is 39" around her hips at her widest point]

ANDEE is wearing 6" shorts in size XXL
[Andee is 5'7" and a size XXL. Andee has a 38" waist (measured at belly button height) & is 52" around her hips at her widest point]
