Now let's chat about the four different running speeds we have outlined in our 30-Day Run Guide, because all speeds are not created equally.
WALK
Think more of a power walk, less of a casual walk in the park. Because, well, the ultimate goal is to be #running.
JOG
We like to think of this as the speed that you can easily run and simultaneously hold a conversation. It does not mean “go as slow as possible to still be considered a run”, but, like, maybe just a bit faster.
RUN
This will be the current speed that you run when you are working hard but not gasping for air. Your “I'm a natural at running” speed.
SPRINT
This is your fastest speed. You should feel like you gave it your all resulting in heavy breathing. Think “run for your life” status.
