To find your size, use a tape measure around your waist at the level of your belly button. Measurements below are in inches. Due to the compression in our leggings and the secure drawstring waistband, if you are looking for a more relaxed fit, we suggest sizing up. (ex. if you are a true to size small you will have a snug compressive fit which is what we recommend for running in). 

XSMALL: 22-23"
SMALL: 24-26"
MEDIUM: 27-29"
LARGE: 30-35"
XLARGE: 36-38"

Mel is wearing Ultra Lavender 5" shorts in size SMALL
[Mel is an xs sometimes and small other times depending on the brand and thought the shorts fit true to size for a small and loved that the shorts stayed up and stayed in place. She also loved the 5" length for someone who is 5'2".]
Liz is wearing Ultra Lavender 5" shorts in size LARGE
[Liz usually wears a size large and felt that they were snug to get on but once on she loved the tight compressive fit. She also loves that the shorts do not ride up. Usually Liz has to wear a 7" short because 5" will ride up and these do not. Plus the waistband did not move or roll over and that is a problem she usually has too.]
